Featured Bag: Garbage Barge roll-top backpack
Sometimes you need a bag to haul your life around-- I mean, we've all been there trying to haul more than our bags can reasonably carry, and being miserable because of it. For those times when you need all the space you can get. the Garbage Barge is the answer. Built rediculously tough, and now including a waist strap (w/ u lock holster) for putting part of the weight of heavy loads on to your waist rather than only on your shoulders, it's able to haul huge loads with comfort.
I use a Garbage Barge for my messengering shifts in downtown Minneapolis, and the company I work for has a delivery route of paychecks in the morning, which often means stacking 30+ lbs of paycheck envelopes up to the max capacity of the bag-- and it keeps even loads like these comfortable. When I empty out the main roll-top compartment, I can use the side compression straps to vastly decrease the size of the bag so it isn't bulky on your back when it doesn't need to be. And the main outer pocket is large enough to handle most smaller items I need to carry around throughout the day.
The Garbage Barge that is the featured bag this month is out in Boston, MA. Recent customer Sean F. sent in a note to Trash Bags with an image attached. (he's about 5'5" for reference)
"i love the barge man, its amazing. i attached a shot of it filled with 8 jumbo moving boxes (broken down of course) with room to spare. it dwarfs me completley. dont know how else i woulda got them home....its far beyond my expectations, i fit inside it (not joking) and the craftsmanship is astounding. TRASH IS WHERE ITS AT."
Thanks for the kind words Sean!
