Art is the best way to customize your bag. To add art to your order:
1. Check the "submitting custom art" option on the ordering page.
2. Add in a description of what you want and where in the "Notes" field on the order form. Examples: "Two orange stripes horizontally across the main flap" or "RoboCop in the top left corner." If you have a specific image to send us please email with your order # included to andy@trashmessengerbags.com in .jpg or .pdf in quality resolution.
3. We'll email you back to talk to you about it. A bag with custom art is kinda like a tattoo. We both want something we're going to be proud of so let's talk about it.
How much does art cost?
Custom art varies in cost simply put by how detailed your idea is. Each order is different and through dialogue we sure we can find something that works for your idea and your budget.
How long is my custom order going to take to complete?
Turn around on custom orders is generally from 3 to 6 weeks, depending on what you ordered, how complex it is, and how much we have on our plates at any given time. We'll let you know when you place your order how soon we expect to get to it, and will keep in touch with you on it. Since we're a small operation, we always promise you quick communication about your order.
How do I pay for my custom bag?
When you checkout through paypal the charge is put on hold until the order is finalized. Once we check your order and finish discussing art if you're adding it, we'll process the payment and get sewing!
